ginger by veganbaking.net @ FlickrI’ll be the first to admit that I don’t make recipes, I just follow them – and once I find a good one, it’s hard to let it go.

I came across this recipe for paleo bulgogi, and fell in love with the marinade, and Korean food! I since discovered that many Korean recipes use a similar combination of soy sauce (coconut aminos for the paleo version), ginger and garlic, and I’ve been trying new recipes ever since.

My latest favorite is Kalbi baby back ribs from Jaden’s Steamy Kitchen and I think I may be a tad obsessed now.

But where’s the oil?

And how does this tie into a blog about essential oils? I always seem to waste so much ginger whenever I buy it fresh at the grocery store, so I now use Ginger essential oil, at the rate of about 2 drops per 1″ of ginger.

And you know what? Ginger is a GREAT oil to support your digestive system*!

YUM!

*Please don’t try this with “every day” essential oils that you may buy – please check the label, as most essential oils are not for internal use. The essential oil that I use has undergone rigorous testing to ensure that their Ginger is safe for internal use.
