Instant relief from allergy congestion

When allergies hit, your body takes the toll – and there’s not much that will make you more miserable than not being able to breathe comfortably.

Breathing is one of those things we do naturally, 24/7, day in, day out, without giving it a second thought. But if you suffer from allergies, you can become painfully aware of just how laborious breathing can be! If you’ve ever woken in the middle of the night, feeling like you are being suffocated, then you know what you have to look forward to when it comes to allergy season!

What’s the secret?

There is something that I find eases the symptoms of allergy congestion, and it’s just a drop away.

Laurel Leaf is a known pulmonary antiseptic and expectorant.

Peppermint is anti- inflammatory, helping to increase airflow in the respiratory tract.

Eucalyptus is a known decongestant, helping to relieve respiratory congestion. Also useful in allergy congestion, it promotes the uptake of oxygen by red blood cells, and stimulates the regeneration of lung tissue. If you’re prone to frequent colds, diffuse Eucalyptus which will also prevent the spread of normally communicable diseases.

Melaleuca has so many amazing properties, but is known to eradicate harmful pathogens, helping to prevent the recurrence of infection. It is known, among other things, for its power to reinforce the lungs, making it supportive in cases of  shallow breathing.

Lemon has anti-inflammatory properties, making it excellent for opening up the respiratory system.

Ravensara is great for combatting respiratory infections, such as sinusitis (also earache when it has originated with nasal congestion) and where the infection affects the chest – such as bronchitis or whooping cough. We find that it may help dilate, open, and even strengthen the respiratory system.

Put it all together and you have an amazing tool in your first aid box for combatting allergy congestion!

I find that the quickest way to get it into my system is to put just one drop on the palm of one hand, rub my hands together, cup them over my nose and breathe deeply.

Another favorite way to get this blend into my system calls on a memory of childhood – when we would sit with our heads over a bowl of steaming hot water, covered with a towel. A drop of respiratory blend in the water and this old remedy is new again!

I can’t say whether you should do this morning and night, three times a day, four times a day – you do it when you feel you need to open up your airways! Carry a tissue around with you with a couple of drops of the blend on it and just take a sniff whenever you feel like it. Heck, carry the bottle around and just sniff from the bottle!

You’ll love the relief. I promise <3
