If you’ve just woken up from a night on the tiles, you may need something to help your hangover!
Essential oils of Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon will help soften the effect. Make your own blend of these oils and use a total of 6-8 drops in a bath. If you add the oils to Epsom salts, it will help them to disperse in the bath.
A few drops of Peppermint on the temples may also bring some relief.
Another essential oil advocate has reported great success through diffusing Lemon and Grapefruit oils.
You could also try blending 1-2 drops each of:
- Grapefruit
- Lavender
- Lemon
- Rosemary
- Sandalwood
blended with 1 tablespoon of Fractionated Coconut Oil. You can massage this blend on the back of your neck and on your back and eve on the bottoms of your feet.
You could try putting some Cinnamon essential oil in your coffee, or in a teaspoon of honey mixed with hot water.
It makes a lot of sense that a detox blend would provide great relief from the effects of a hangover! Lots of water with Grapefruit essential oil mixed in seems like a great suggestion, as Grapefruit is a great detoxifier of the liver. Lemon, of course, is too.
Remember, not all suggestions will work for all people – keep trying oils and blends until you find relief!
