Good for you! You followed through on your plan to hit the gym, but now your muscles ache like you’ve never known them to ache before and you still have to make it in to work!
What can I do about aching muscles?
Rest is the best therapy for aching muscles, but that’s not always possible. Nor is it always convenient to hop in a hot bath, or get an appointment with your favorite massage therapist, so here’s a great little recipe that you can use to massage those aching muscles.
- Eucalyptus – 2 drops
- Peppermint – 2 drops
- Ginger – 2 drops
Combine in a tablespoon of carrier oil (we like Fractionated Coconut Oil), and rub into those aching muscles. You’ll thank me! Honest!
Can I do something before I exercise?
Many people find that if they rub our soothing blend into their muscles before working out, it conditions the muscles so that they don’t get so tired during exercise.
